Tucked back from Rundle Street, Exchange Specialty Coffee is a coffee geek’s paradise. Not just for the hipsters, those who shy away from a well-worth-the-wait AeroPress (when I visited a La Maravilla from Guatemala with a delicious winey sweetness, notes of honey & an apple finish) there’s the classics, including cappuccino, flat white & latte, made with Melbourne coffee roaster, Market Lane beans.
Teas are by Waterloo Tea with fun names like Hairy Monkey & Dragon Well, & a glass cabinet bulges with tempting Abbots & Kinney pastries. Linger at lunch time over soup or a hearty sandwich.
